Questions

Common questions

Need help with a specific form? See our OWCP forms guide, or see the federal employees we treat.

Is federal workers' comp different from Florida workers' comp?

Yes. Federal employees are covered by FECA, which is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), not by Florida's state workers' compensation system.

Can I choose my own doctor for an OWCP claim?

Yes. Under FECA you may choose your initial treating physician. Changing doctors after that generally requires approval from your OWCP claims examiner, and our claims team can help you prepare the request.

Do I need a Form CA-16?

Your agency may issue a CA-16 to authorize initial treatment for a traumatic injury. Bring it to your first visit if you have one. If you don't, call us and we'll walk you through the next step for your claim.

Which OWCP forms can you help with?

Our in-office claims assistance covers CA and OWCP forms such as the CA-1, CA-2, CA-7, CA-16, CA-17 and CA-20, plus treatment authorizations, medical narratives and appeals.

What are your hours?
